High precision and quality mechanical shaft seal made from a combination of 316 stainless steel and graphite, designed for easy installation and maintenance. The mechanical seal creates an effective junction between the stainless steel ring and the graphite component. The stainless steel ring is secured with headless screws on the shaft, allowing it to rotate with the shaft while the graphite part remains stationary on the shaft seal. These mechanical shaft seals can be directly mounted on sterntubes with a rubber sleeve secured using clamps. The standard mounting size for the rubber sleeve on sterntubes is 113 mm, but with the use of reductions, the mechanical seal can also be fitted on sterntubes of 80 mm, as well as those measuring 3"1/4 and 4". Additionally, it can be complemented with a wall-mounted bronze shaft seal adapter, complete with water-lubricated bearing (see codes 4900635<>4900680).
