The mechanical seal functions through the perfect junction between the stainless steel ring and high-reliability, premium-quality seals featuring a rotating ring in 316L stainless steel, a stationary ring in graphite, and a nitrile sleeve reinforced with Kevlar fiber. The GV version, equipped with a hose connector, allows for water lubrication and is ideal for boats traveling over 20 knots, where the stuffing box or shaft housing may empty due to speed-induced vacuum. Sealing is guaranteed through the perfect contact between the rotating and stationary rings, eliminating the need for grease or gaskets. It also tolerates misalignment and does not wear the shaft at the contact points. This seal is directly installed on the shaft housing tube or the stuffing box head.
