We designate this model as our mackerel cooler, which comfortably accommodates a 15kg mackerel or jewel fish in a flat position. A 20kg fish can also fit with a slight curve, and I have successfully stored a 38kg yellowfin tuna inside this box.

Anglers targeting both pelagic and reef fish will appreciate the generous storage capacity. Additionally, a small container or vessel can be placed inside for food and beverages, ensuring they remain separate from the fish.

Each 160L cooler is equipped with four heavy-duty injection-molded hinges that open beyond 90 degrees, eliminating the need for straps to secure the lids in the open position.

Our 160-liter boxes feature a split lid design for convenient access. This configuration allows for opening just half of the lid when necessary, while still allowing full lid access. The division includes an additional rubber seal to maintain a cold internal temperature.

The wall thickness varies from 80mm on the lid, where insulation is paramount, to 40mm-45mm on the base and sides. This design provides exceptional thermal insulation without incurring excessive weight.
