Our hydraulic steering systems for workboats are meticulously engineered to deliver reliable and efficient steering solutions. Each system comes with a complete cylinder and a flexible hose equipped with 1/2" female thread connections, easily connecting to 18x15 mm copper tubes. It is essential to consider the maximum torque of the rudder when selecting a system.
The steering pump features 1/2" female thread connections and a stainless steel shaft measuring 1" (25 mm). Your choice of pump should be based on the number of turns required from lock to lock on the steering wheel. The accompanying table outlines the steering wheel turns for each combined cylinder, organized by size, starting from the smallest.
Our hydraulic steering unit for commercial vessels boasts an impressive axial piston of seven pistons and an 89cc pump. It incorporates a high-quality stainless steel shaft, suitable for large steering wheels with a tapered diameter of 1".
The system is supplied with compression fittings for 18 mm OD copper pipes or 1/2" BSP connections.
