Introducing the OBI Bennett Trim Indicator, meticulously designed for 12/24V systems. This unit features toggle buttons, LED indicators, a brightness dimmer, and an integrated Automatic Tab Retractor (ATR) within the panel. It comes equipped with two actuator hinges, complete with sensors and connection cables.
This system can be effortlessly installed on any boat fitted with Bennett trim tabs, and the ATR automatically retracts the tabs when the ignition key is removed.
Electronic Control Kit EIC5000
The Bennett EIC5000 Electronic Control Kit combines three essential functions into a single unit: a soft-touch trim tab switch, a trim tab position indicator, and automatic tab retraction control. The kit includes:
- EIC switch/display
- EIC relay module
- Two upper hinge sensors (for starboard and port) with 10-foot cables
- EIC cable connecting the module to the display
- All necessary installation hardware
This system operates at 12 volts and is equipped with waterproof switches and connectors designed to withstand corrosion. The dimmable LEDs on the indicator ensure visibility both day and night.
The relay module, mounted near the transom, minimizes the amount of wiring running to the helm. Additionally, the auto-retract feature automatically pulls the tabs when power is switched off, preventing damage during towing.
