The SOLAS Duo propellers feature a high-pitch blade design with cupping, delivering exceptional stern lift and acceleration. These aftermarket duo-style propellers serve as a reliable replacement for the Volvo Penta Duo outdrives. Installing SOLAS duo-style aftermarket propellers may require special tools and OEM hardware. We recommend consulting the OEM manual for proper installation and torque specifications.

The SOLAS Aluminum Duo-Prop series A propellers are designed for diesel engines up to D41. The unique combination of a 3-blade front propeller and a 4-blade rear propeller provides excellent grip in the water.

SOLAS propellers are manufactured using an advanced pressure casting process, making them stronger and more durable than conventional cast products. This process results in a virtually non-porous propeller with a finer grain structure. Additionally, SOLAS aluminum propellers are coated with four layers of high-quality paint, utilizing a sophisticated painting technique to ensure exceptional corrosion resistance.

Each propeller undergoes over 500 hours of testing in a saltwater spray tank, simulating more than six months of typical usage in saltwater.

Note: For engines exceeding a speed of 35 knots, we recommend using the stainless steel Type C propeller.
