It can handle a maximum input speed of 5000 rpm and has a dry weight of 18 kg. The required oil volume is 1.20 liters, with ATF oil being the recommended type.

These mechanical gearboxes are compatible with right-hand rotation propellers. For left-hand rotation propellers, the reverse should be used as the forward setting. The reduction ratios of 2.00 and 2.47 are particularly suitable for propeller rotation in both directions at full power, making the TMC 260 an excellent choice for dual-engine applications.
