White Fire Port with 90 Degree Hose Adaptor for Fire Extinguisher

A fire port offers an affordable solution to protect your passengers and crew aboard your boat. It allows for visual inspection and the ability to discharge a fire extinguisher directly into the engine space or any other enclosed area during a fire emergency. This Osculati model fire port comes complete with a white plastic flange, a 90° hose tail, a watertight transparent inspection port, and a white plastic mounting nut. It is designed for both wall and floor mounting and can be connected to the engine box or other enclosed spaces via a pipe.

In the case of a fire, simply inserting the fire extinguisher nozzle through the fire port and discharging it can extinguish the flames without the need to open additional inspection hatches. Opening hatches could introduce more oxygen to the fire, fueling it and increasing the risk. By using the fire port, the extinguisher's contents are directed specifically at the affected area, minimizing the risk of spreading the extinguishing agent to other areas of the boat.

Installing a fire port is highly recommended by CE and A.B.Y.C. directives and can be easily installed by making a cutout of the required size of 38mm.
