The Racor turbine operates through a sophisticated three-stage process that guarantees superior filtration:

Stage One: Separation

As fuel enters the filter assembly, it moves through the turbine's centrifuge where larger solids and water droplets are expelled, settling at the bottom of the collection vessel.

Stage Two: Coalescence

Smaller water droplets coalesce along the sides of the chamber and the filter element. Once they gain sufficient weight, they fall to the bottom of the collection container.

Stage Three: Filtration

The filter element, made with Aquabloc technology, effectively captures algae, rust, and dirt from the fuel. Unlike traditional water-absorbing elements, Aquabloc elements are water-resistant, making them significantly more effective and longer-lasting.

The Racor 1000MA diesel filter comes complete with a clear container and a 10-micron element, ensuring optimal performance. With a maximum flow capacity of 681 LPH through a 7/8"-14 UNF port size, it meets high-demand filtration needs. Replacement Racor turbine elements (series 2020) are available for order in various micron ratings, measuring 110 mm in diameter and 249 mm in height.
